Specification FC-1700---Asbestos-rubber plankings have several items from which we will choose the best for every customer according to the factory condition and customer's FC-1700V,FC-1700N--- High-pressure Style: made of the medium and long asbestos fiber and rubber. It is suitable for sealing of flange joint part of facility used in the condition of water with high pressure and high temperature, saturated vapor, overheated vapor, coal gas, inert gases. FC-1700C--Middle Pressure Style: made of asbestos and rubber. It is suitable for the sealing of flange part of facility uesd in the condition of water, vapor,air, ammonia-alkaline liquid. FC-1700E---Low Pressure Style:made of asbestos and rubber, suitable for normal hot water heating facilities, low pressure water pipe, vapor pipework.It is suitable for refinery facilities, distilling pipe, diesel engine for cars, oil pipeline.Asbestos-rubber sheet are generally cheap, convenient. But the biggest trouble is the charring of rubber and packing, and the low temperature will result in the loosen of material, and finally cause leakage in the joint part or in the shim itself, and agglomerating, smoking, and the planking are more easy sticking on the flange. Beside, asbestos will cause heavy pollution. So the high-strengh graphite sheet and nonasbestos sheet will be used instead of asbestos materials.
